This policy explains how High Above ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through highabove.space. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

WHAT WE COLLECT

  • The details you enter in the register form: your email address, and if you choose, your first name, country, postcode and who the product is for.
  • Anonymous, aggregate usage statistics, such as page views and button clicks. These don't identify you and don't use cookies.

The ISS pass finder works out your location in your browser. Your location is not sent to us or stored by us.

HOW WE USE IT

We use your details to email you about High Above, including when it launches, and to understand where interest is coming from. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We use third-party service providers to host this website, store form submissions, send email and measure site usage. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. Some are located outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We don't sell your personal information.

To show live sky data, your browser also requests information from public data services such as CelesTrak, Launch Library 2, Open-Meteo and 7Timer, some through our server. Like any website, they receive your IP address and, for weather or a place search, the location being looked up.

STORAGE AND RETENTION

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. We keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

ACCESS, CORRECTION AND DELETION

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us at the address above. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
